For the implementation of the Ministry of Education's major reform measures and policy deployments for the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program," According to the school's teaching arrangements, the Process Equipment and Control Engineering major of the School of Chemical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology 75 teachers and students, led by Associate Professor Wang Ze Wu, conducted a full-process summer production internship at Dalian Oriental Yipeng Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. from July 2, 2025. Oriental Yipeng Chairman Xing Peng Wan attaches great importance to the production internship of Dalian University of Technology's chemical engineering students, making unified plans, careful arrangements, and assigning the company's vice general manager Fu Zhenxing and others to personally implement every detail of the industry-education integration course and the full-process production internship.

The "DUT-Oriental Yipeng Liaoning Provincial University Off-Campus Practical Education Base" is the off-campus practice base of the Process Equipment and Control Engineering major of the School of Chemical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, at Oriental Yipeng Company. When the ambition of "If one's will is unwavering, mountains can be moved" meets the first set of coiled tube heat exchangers for the largest gas storage facility in Northeast China, jointly developed by Oriental Yipeng and Dalian University of Technology; when the fluid mechanics formulas in the classroom become the core driving force of the air wave refrigeration unit—72 students from the Process Equipment and Control Engineering major of the School of Chemical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, stepped into the practical crucible of Oriental Yipeng Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in the summer. This is far more than a simple summer internship; it is a magnificent prelude to the synergistic resonance of production, education, research, and application under the empowerment of technology.

The plaque of the "DUT-Oriental Yipeng Liaoning Provincial University Off-Campus Practical Education Base" is a solid anchor for school-enterprise cooperation in cultivating excellent engineers. It echoes the reform call of the Ministry of Education's "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program," turning the steel forest in the workshop into an extension of the classroom and transforming the design parameters on the drawings into the manufacturing reality of the roaring smart factory. Here, the knowledge of high-end pressure vessels from textbooks collides intensely with Oriental Yipeng's complete manufacturing quality assurance system; the macroscopic picture of energy and chemical engineering becomes tangible in the array of petrochemical, nuclear power, and military products covering the vast expanse of south, north, and the Gobi Desert.
