Recently, after attending a technical research seminar, Wang Gang, Vice President of Sinopec (Dalian) Petrochemical Research Institute, and Zhu Yadong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sinopec Jingmen Petrochemical Branch, were recommended by Sinopec Dalian Institute to conduct on-site research at Dalian Dongfang Yipeng Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. They also visited the domestic project for the development and application of the 600,000 tons/year propane dehydrogenation unit at Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical, which includes the production of super-large spiral tube heat exchangers. Xie Pengwan, Chairman of Dongfang Yipeng, and Wang Xuejing, General Manager of the company, accompanied the research visit.

At the research meeting, Xie Pengwan, Chairman of Dongfang Yipeng, warmly welcomed Wang, the President of Sinopec (Dalian) Petrochemical Research Institute, and Secretary Zhu from Jingmen Petrochemical for their visit. Chairman Xie introduced the history, development strategy, scientific research and development, industry-university-research application, digital construction, intelligent manufacturing, corporate culture, and achievements in the industry.

Chairman Xie Pengwan stated that Sinopec Dalian Research Institute and Jingmen Petrochemical are research institutions and petrochemical companies under central enterprises. Sinopec is not only one of the top 500 companies in China but also ranks among the top in the world. It holds a significant position in the petrochemical and refining fields both in China and globally. Dongfang Yipeng places great importance on industry-university-research cooperation and signed a strategic framework agreement with Sinopec (Dalian) Petrochemical Research Institute several years ago. They have conducted multiple technical exchanges with various research rooms and the technology market department of Dalian Institute, achieving fruitful results. In 2023, Dongfang Yipeng successfully produced the "Experimental Device for Coated Asphalt Development Model" developed by Sinopec (Dalian) Petrochemical Research Institute, which received acclaim in the industry and set a precedent for private enterprises manufacturing laboratory equipment for heavy equipment manufacturing.This laid a solid foundation for Dongfang Yipeng to produce and manufacture laboratory research skid-mounted equipment.State-owned enterprises generally have strong technical capabilities, with advantages in talent, technology, market, and capital. It is hoped that there will be more cooperation space to continuously deepen the coordinated development of state-owned and private enterprises, promoting high-quality development in Dongfang Yipeng's equipment manufacturing industry.

Especially since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party, the top-level design for promoting the coordinated development of state-owned and private enterprises has become increasingly clear. The pattern of coordinated development between state-owned and private economies has basically formed, with deepening collaboration in industry complementarity and supply chain cooperation.

President Wang stated that achieving Chinese-style modernization and the new development stage has raised higher requirements for promoting the coordinated development of state-owned and private enterprises. In the future, it is necessary to promote the coordinated development of state-owned and private enterprises at a higher starting point. Cooperation platforms should be established in areas such as innovation collaboration, talent support, technology exchange, digital cooperation, and supply chain collaboration, developing new quality productive forces suited to local conditions, and promoting collaborative innovation development between state-owned and private enterprises, thereby driving high-quality national economic development.
