On November 29, the 2021 China's Top 500 Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises Conference and the Summit Forum on Opportunities and Challenges for Large Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises under the New Pattern of Double Circulation and the online video conference of the Dalian Petrochemical Industry Promotion Conference were held online.

Li Shousheng, president of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, pointed out in his speech at the meeting that the next 10 years will be a critical period for China's petroleum and chemical industry to leapfrog into a powerful country. Enterprises should fully recognize the new changes in the development environment, the current situation and gaps in the competitiveness and innovation ability of enterprises, and accelerate the promotion of future-oriented strategic innovation ability. Enterprises should not only firmly grasp today and accurately predict the future, but also firmly grasp the five performance indicators of future-oriented market sales, innovation ability, production efficiency, asset liquidity, cash flow and profitability, and provide users with moving market services.

The meeting released the 2021 Top 500 list of China's petroleum and chemical enterprises (comprehensive category), the 2021 Top 500 list of China's petroleum and chemical enterprises (independent production and operation enterprises), and the ranking list by industry. The meeting also released the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening Enterprise Management in China's Petroleum and Chemical Industry during the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan", the research report on the development index of China's petroleum and chemical industry in 2021, the research report on listed petroleum and chemical companies in 2020 and the research report on the development of international chemical industry in 2020.

China National Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Limited and China National Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation Limited won the first and second place in the 2021 Top 500 list of China's petroleum and chemical enterprises (comprehensive enterprises). China National Offshore Oil Group Co., Ltd., China Sinochem Group Co., Ltd. and China National Chemical Group Co., Ltd. ranked fifth, seventh and ninth in the top ten respectively.

Sinochem Energy Co., Ltd., CNOOC Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. and China National Offshore Oil Co., Ltd. are among the top three (independent production and operation enterprises) in the 2021 Top 500 list of China's petroleum and chemical enterprises. China National Petroleum Corporation Limited, China National Agrochemical Corporation Limited and China National Offshore Oil and Gas Corporation Limited ranked fourth, sixth and eighth in the top ten respectively.
