——A Side Note on the Petrochemical Equipment Manufactured by Dalian Dongfang Yipeng for Export to Zambia and Algeria in Africa     

     In the spring and autumn, the fruits of the year are abundant. On the occasion of the successful convening of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit, Dalian Dongfang Yipeng Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has successfully completed and delivered 30 important pieces of equipment, including condensers and heat exchangers, manufactured for the Zambia United Capital 300,000 tons/year fertilizer project (Zambia UCFCL 300,000 MTPA Urea Project) on schedule.  Trucks are entering and leaving the Dongfang Yipeng factory, transporting equipment to Qingdao Port for shipment to Dar es Salaam Port in Africa.

      In order to vigorously expand the "Belt and Road" overseas trade in Africa and actively implement the spirit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit, Dongfang Yipeng is working day and night to produce the core equipment for the 200,000 tons/year MTBE (Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether) project for the National Oil and Gas Company of Algeria (SONATRACH), with delivery expected in batches around the National Day holiday. The export of core petrochemical equipment to Zambia and Algeria by Dongfang Yipeng is a tribute to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and a contribution to the implementation of the spirit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Beijing Summit.

      The Zambia United Capital 300,000 tons/year fertilizer project is under the Zambia United Capital Company Limited (United Capital Fertilizer Zambia Company Limited) and is an important part of the industrial and agricultural cooperation between China and Zambia. This is another milestone in the pragmatic cooperation and friendship between China and Zambia following the "Tanzam Railway."

     The Zambia United Capital 300,000 tons/year fertilizer project is located in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, and is the first modern urea project in East Africa. Once completed, it will have an annual production capacity of 180,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 300,000 tons of urea. The completion of the fertilizer plant project will alleviate the shortage of fertilizers in Zambia, significantly reduce agricultural production costs, increase the yield of food and agricultural products, benefit local farmers by increasing their income, create jobs, promote historic development in Zambian agriculture, and greatly enhance local economic and social development, becoming a new engine for the industrial and agricultural development of Zambia.
